About this product
Product details from Arccaptain:
Bundle Summary
In addition to the welder's standard accessories, this kit includes a compatible TIG foot pedal, stainless steel TIG filler rods, red-coded tungsten electrodes, and a 49-piece TIG torch parts kit. It adds foot-controlled amperage, stainless filler metal, replacement electrodes, and torch consumables for controlled DC TIG fabrication.
Bundle Highlights
Stainless Filler Close at Hand
Included TIG filler rods support suitable stainless joints when the filler classification matches the base metal and welding procedure.
Foot-Controlled Heat Input
Vary amperage with the foot pedal during supported TIG operation as the joint temperature and welding conditions change.
Electrodes for Ongoing TIG Work
Keep replacement red-coded tungsten available when an electrode becomes worn, contaminated, or requires regrinding.
Service Parts for Your Torch
The 49-piece kit supports routine WP-26 torch maintenance and compatible consumable replacement between projects.
Extra Accessories Included in This Kit
Everything below is included in addition to the standard accessories supplied with the welder.
Add Filler to Stainless Joints
Use compatible stainless filler rods for appropriate joint fit-up and material thickness when welding stainless steel with DC TIG.
Choose filler metal according to the exact stainless base-metal grade, service conditions, and approved welding procedure.
Support Consistent Arc Preparation
Keep extra red-coded tungsten available for compatible DC TIG welding when an electrode becomes worn or contaminated.
Match the electrode diameter to the installed collet, collet body, and supplied WP-26 torch configuration.
Maintain Your TIG Torch Setup
Keep compatible replacement torch components available for routine maintenance and reduce downtime when installed consumables become worn.
The assortment supports 17/18/26-series torch configurations and can be used with the TIG205P Pro's supplied WP-26 torch.
Adjust Amperage as Heat Builds
Vary welding current by foot during supported DC TIG operation while keeping both hands positioned for torch and filler control.
The included pedal is compatible with the ARCCAPTAIN TIG205P Pro. Connect and operate it according to the machine and pedal instructions.
Best-Fit Applications
Stainless Steel Sheet Fabrication
Use DC Pulse TIG for suitable thin stainless sheet. Adjust pulse parameters and foot-controlled amperage according to material thickness, joint design, and procedure.
Stainless Tubing & Brackets
Use correctly matched stainless filler rods with a properly prepared tungsten electrode for suitable tubing, brackets, and fabricated joints.
Custom Stainless Projects
Use HF DC TIG for suitable detailed work where controlled arc starting and heat input matter, with spare tungsten and torch parts available for maintenance.
Compatible Exhaust & Bracket Work
Use DC TIG or Pulse TIG on suitable stainless components only after confirming the base-metal grade, filler selection, joint condition, and shielding setup.
How to Use This Kit
- Identify the stainless base-metal grade, clean the weld area, and confirm the correct filler classification and tungsten diameter.
- With input power disconnected, connect the WP-26 TIG torch, work clamp, gas hose, and compatible foot pedal according to the user manual.
- Connect a filled 100% argon cylinder with a compatible regulator/flowmeter, then verify gas delivery and the required 120V or 240V power setup.
- Select HF DC TIG or Pulse TIG with a supported pedal-control setting, enter suitable parameters, and test on matching scrap material.
- Use the pedal to vary amperage while maintaining torch position, arc length, and filler-rod control.
- Inspect the tungsten and torch consumables after welding; regrind or replace them only with correctly matched components.
Additional Equipment and PPE Required
This bundle does not replace the following required equipment and safety items:
- A filled 100% argon cylinder and compatible regulator/flowmeter
- A compatible 120V or 240V circuit and connection that meet the user manual requirements
- A properly rated welding helmet, welding gloves, protective clothing, and all other task-appropriate PPE
- Any additional joint-preparation, cleaning, fixturing, or back-purging equipment required by the application
Always confirm that the supplied filler classification matches the intended stainless base metal and service requirements before welding.
