Product details from Arccaptain:
TIG205 Pro Fabricator Kit
Bundle Summary
In addition to the welder’s standard accessories, this kit includes a TIG foot pedal and blue-coded tungsten electrodes, adding hands-free amperage adjustment and spare electrodes for controlled steel and stainless-steel TIG work.
DC TIG Process Notice
The TIG205 Pro provides HF DC TIG, Cold/Spot TIG, and MMA/Stick welding. It does not provide AC TIG for conventional aluminum TIG welding.
Bundle Highlights
Adjust Heat at the Joint
Use foot-operated amperage control as heat builds during supported DC TIG welding.
Both Hands Stay Positioned
Keep both hands positioned for torch and filler-rod control while your foot adjusts welding current.
Extra Tungsten for Replacement
Keep spare tungsten available when an electrode becomes contaminated, worn, or requires re-preparation.
Focused TIG Control Upgrade
Get the welder, compatible foot control, and additional tungsten together for TIG bench work.
Extra Accessories Included in This Kit
Everything below is included in addition to the standard accessories supplied with the welder.
TIG Foot Pedal ×1
Foot-Controlled AmperageAdjust Heat While Welding. Adjust TIG amperage by foot while keeping both hands positioned for steady torch and filler-rod control at the joint.
Compatibility: Designed for the ARCCAPTAIN TIG205 Pro; use only in TIG modes that support remote current control according to the manual.
Blue-Coded Tungsten Electrodes
Spare TIG ElectrodesKeep Extra Tungsten Available. Keep spare TIG electrodes available for replacement, helping reduce interruptions when an electrode requires preparation or replacement.
Use Condition: Match the tungsten type and diameter to the base material, amperage, WP-26 torch setup, and product manual before use.
Best-Fit Applications
Steel and Stainless-Steel Detail Work
Bench joints where foot-operated amperage adjustment helps respond to heat buildup during supported DC TIG welding.
Short Welds and Joint Transitions
Suitable steel or stainless-steel joints that benefit from current adjustment as joint geometry or accumulated heat changes.
Focused TIG Practice
Practice torch, filler-rod, and pedal coordination with spare tungsten available for electrode replacement.
How to Use the Kit
Choose a suitable base metal and filler metal, then match the tungsten type and diameter to the WP-26 torch setup.
Disconnect input power before making connections. Attach the WP-26 torch, work clamp, gas hose, and foot pedal according to the manual.
Connect a compatible regulator or flow control and a filled argon cylinder, then verify gas delivery and the required input-power setup.
Select a supported DC TIG pedal-control mode, set suitable parameters, and test the setup on matching scrap material.
Use the pedal to adjust current while maintaining the required torch position and filler-rod control.
Prepare or replace tungsten as needed. Use Cold/Spot TIG only when the selected control method is supported by the manual.
Additional Equipment and PPE Still Required
TIG welding requires a filled argon cylinder, compatible regulator or flow control, correctly matched filler metal when needed, and a suitable power circuit and connection. MMA/Stick welding requires compatible Stick electrodes, and the TIG foot pedal is not used.
Use a properly rated welding helmet, welding gloves, protective clothing, and all other task-appropriate PPE. Shielding gas, cylinder, regulator or flow control, filler rods, Stick electrodes, and PPE are not listed as extras in this kit.
