How to Use This Kit
- Identify the base metal and select a suitable DC TIG process, tungsten diameter, filler metal, and compatible WP-26 torch components.
- With input power disconnected, connect the WP-26 TIG torch, work clamp, gas hose, and compatible foot pedal according to the user manual.
- Connect a filled 100% argon cylinder with a compatible regulator/flowmeter, then verify gas delivery and the required 120V or 240V power setup.
- Select HF DC TIG or Pulse TIG with a supported pedal-control setting, enter suitable parameters, and test on matching scrap material.
- Use pedal travel to manage current during the weld while maintaining torch angle, arc length, and filler-rod control.
- Inspect the torch between sessions and replace worn parts only with components that match the installed torch configuration and tungsten size.
