Best-Fit Applications
How to Use the Kit
Match the welding process, tungsten, and separately purchased filler metal to the base material and joint requirements.
Connect the welder, WP-26 torch, work clamp, specified gas equipment, and a filled 100% argon cylinder according to the product manual.
Disconnect input power before attaching the foot pedal. Connect it as directed in the manual, restore power, then select AC TIG or DC TIG for the applicable material.
Prepare the selected tungsten correctly, set gas flow and welding parameters, and test the settings on matching scrap material.
Use the pedal for TIG current control and install parts from the 71-piece kit only when they match the torch setup.
Wear the included gloves with a properly rated welding helmet, protective clothing, and all other task-appropriate PPE.
Additional Equipment Still Required
A filled 100% argon cylinder, compatible input circuit and outlet, correctly matched TIG filler metal, a properly rated welding helmet, protective clothing, and other task-appropriate PPE are still required. Compatible Stick electrodes are required for Stick welding.
